Task Description: Today in home class I was doing a Cyber smart challenge where you draw an image using sumo paint. It was really easy and fun, you need to try it out :)

Prize Giving Item Practise

 Yesterday on the 23 November 2021, we had our year 8 Prize Giving Item Practise. We had so much fun we wanted to learn more, but it was lunch time. It was so fun to see our year 8 item, it was really fun to learn new dance moves. I really hope that our parents can come to see our prize giving during lock down. I will not give you that much detail on it you will have to wait and see :)

Task description: Today in home class I was looking at kiwi kids news and I found something interesting. A 12 year old British boy make $560,000 just by making pixel photos of whales. Unbelievable!

Afghanistan Vs New Zealand - Cricket match t20 2021

 Last night at 11:00am ( 7 November )  There was a cricket match Afghanistan against New Zealand. New Zealand won the toss and decided to field first which means Afghanistan is batting. Afghanistan was playing well at the beginning but later on they lost all the good batsman, but still they hit a few sixes and fours. When it was New Zealand to bat, Afghanistan hit a wicket on the first ball which was a catch. Me and my family were feeling good that Afghanistan were gonna win but later on New Zealand started to smash the ball. Unfortunately New Zealand took the victory. Well Play New Zealand we will get you next time

Literacy class ( Introduction and Conclusion #1 )

Task description: Today in electives we were drawing fireworks with Miss Hall. I took it to the next step and draw the mask with it. Hope you like it :)

Guyfox Information

 Who is Guyfox? ( Guyfox fake name was John Johnson )

Guyfox was an english conspirator in the 17th century. He works with gunpowder. One he wanted to blow up a building which was called Westminster Palace with King James I and Parliament inside. There were 36 barrels of gunpowder below the building in a small room know one knew about. Before blowing up the building he was caught red handed. People celebrated with fireworks because they had caught him.

How did Guyfox die?

One Guyfox was caught he was tortured for a few days. After a few days he climbed a ladder and he jumped from the ladder and broke his neck and died. 

Why do we celebrate guyfox?

Guy Fawkes Night originates from the Gunpowder Plot of 1605, a failed conspiracy by a group of provincial English Catholics to assassinate the Protestant King James I of England and VI of Scotland and replace him with a Catholic head of state. ... This made 1605 the first year the plot's failure was celebrated. Till this day people still celebrate guy fox.

What I have been up to in lock down ( Gardening )

 

Task description: In the lockdown me and my dad have been gardening a lot of fruits vegetables for example  Aloe Vera, Spring onion, Onion, Peas, Mint, Sunflower, Silver beet, Lettuce, Choy sum, chives. I really enjoyed gardening because I could spend some quality time with my family.
